Temperature & Humidity Mapping in Singapore
For warehouses, cold rooms and controlled spaces, knowing the real temperature and humidity across the whole space is essential — to safely store, process and distribute pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices. Unitest maps and verifies those conditions so you can qualify your facility and meet your regulatory requirements.
What it is
What is temperature & humidity mapping?
It measures how temperature (and humidity) actually vary across a controlled space — not just at one point.
Temperature and humidity mapping profiles a warehouse, cold room, chamber or storage area using a grid of calibrated data loggers recorded over a representative period. It reveals hot and cold spots and humidity variation across the space, so you can qualify it for its intended use and document that it holds the conditions your products and regulators require.
This is different from instrument or chamber calibration: mapping qualifies the environment, which is exactly what cold-chain, GDP and quality requirements ask for when sensitive goods are stored or moved.
Why it matters
Why map your temperature & humidity
Insight into your environment
Hot, humid spaces carry real occupational-health and product risks. Mapping gives you precise insight into the conditions inside your controlled areas — exactly what's needed to qualify a space or piece of equipment for its intended purpose.
Better, documented decisions
Accurate records of how temperature and humidity actually behave let you act on facts, not guesses — optimising how you use the space and producing the documentation global regulatory standards and guidelines expect.
Quality & expertise
Our team carries out mapping with specialist equipment and defined procedures, so the resulting documentation meets the standards your auditors and customers require.
How it works
Our mapping process
Site survey & protocol
We assess the space and agree the mapping protocol — number and placement of sensors, duration, and acceptance criteria.
Sensor placement & logging
Calibrated data loggers are positioned in a grid and record temperature (and humidity) over a representative period.
Analysis & report
We analyse the data, identify hot/cold spots and variation, and document the results against your criteria.
Recommendations
We flag any out-of-specification areas and recommend corrective actions so the space holds the conditions you need.

Questions
Mapping FAQ
What is temperature & humidity mapping used for?+
Mapping qualifies warehouses, cold rooms, chambers and storage areas for storing, processing and distributing temperature- and humidity-sensitive goods — pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, food and more — and produces the documentation needed to demonstrate compliance.
Is temperature mapping the same as chamber / freezer calibration?+
No. Chamber/freezer calibration verifies a single piece of equipment; temperature & humidity mapping profiles an entire space (a warehouse or room) using a grid of loggers to qualify it for use. They are different services and are often done together.
How long does a mapping study take?+
It depends on the size of the space and your protocol — logging typically runs over a representative period (often 24–72 hours, sometimes longer for qualification). We confirm the duration and sensor count when we agree the protocol with you.
