Why calibrate?
Unitest calibrates RTDs (resistance temperature detectors) and PT100/PT385 sensors in Singapore over a range of -95°C to 660°C, with SAC-SINGLAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025 certificates. RTD resistance shifts gradually with repeated thermal cycling, mechanical stress and contamination; calibration confirms the resistance-temperature relationship is still accurate and the traceability chain is intact for process control and regulatory submissions.
